On Friday, January 15th, we headed to Roff after pool winterized and kids were out of school. These are a few of girls' pictures on the way down. We arrived at the farm and had chocolate cake-yummy! We visited, then went to bed early; so, we could get on the road to Grapevine early due to incoming winter weather.
Saturday, January 16th, before we left the farm we took a few pictures-cold, windy, and starting to sleet/snow. We headed towards Texas after first stopping for donuts. We arrived mid-morning to the lodge, but wasn't able to check in until later on so we decided the mall sounded like a good place to walk and explore before meeting up with Amber, Mitch and Jett for lunch. We ate lunch at our "usual" spot. Then returned to the lodge to check-in and take kids swimming. We let the kids swim and had pizza that evening.
Sunday, January 17th, started with donuts then swimming. After several hours at the pool it was time to get ready and have lunch. We tried a new restaurant this year and it was good. After eating it was time to mall walk and shop. Then time for more swimming....we had In and Out Burgers for supper.
Mat had a slight problem on the last swimming adventure of trip-split his pants open
Monday, January 18th, time to check out and go eat at Old West Cafe and then head back home. We had a great time
