On Monday, January 9th, the weather forecasters started broadcasting the upcoming ice storm.
Tuesday, January 10th, we decided to go ahead and get groceries in case of power outage and ice.
Wednesday, January 11th, everyone was still not sure when ice will come in and exactly how much, but it looked like we would get some ice and in a "winter storm watch"
Friday, we woke up to drizzle and roads seemed fine (just wet). Schools were closed; however, the kids continued school as usual. :) We just enjoyed having Bryan home for the day.
Saturday, trees and elevated surfaces are covered in ice. We took Mat to work and the roads were wet. The trees and rooftops had a bit more ice on them.
Sunday, we had a lot more ice on the trees, but not nearly the amount they thought or on roads. We are thankful that we didn't get near the amount of ice they weathermen first predicted.
